More than “just” a professional artist, Felicity has been a registered psychologist and Art Therapist for over 10 years. This unique set of skills means she’s perfectly positioned to not only support and nurture aspiring artists, but also able to speak from genuine life experience. And she doesn’t want other female artists to face the same struggles that she did.

Felicity has an impressive award history being a finalist in the Hunters Hill Art Prize 2016, the Blacktown Art Prize and the Hornsby Art Prize 2015. She has also been a five time finalist in the Gosford Art Prize as well as many other awards and accolades which you can read about on her art website.

Through her years exhibing and entering art competitions, Felicity soon became enraged with the lack of support available to artists – especially female artists. Even though painting has always been her passion, she soon recognised the feelings of isolation and self doubt that come with long days in the studio with noone to talk to but her own thoughts.

And this is where her idea for the Art Activator program was born. Felicity wanted a space for female artists to share, encourage, learn and support each other. A way for them to propel their careers forward, while empowering other women along the way.

The Art Activator program has been developed to support emerging female artists by providing them with education, resources and community to confidently create their artwork and have an opportunity to exhibit and sell. We are extremely excited to be the first in the world to bring together this type of training and support for female artists.
