Show Notes:
- Richard is an artist based on the South Coast and has a Bachelor of Arts from the Sydney College of the Arts
- His career started to take off a couple of years ago when he became more intentional with his art practice
- The biggest struggle that creative professionals face is the expectation to produce high quality work on a consistent basis
- He is still working on honing his skills and says that it would take 10,000+ hours to become an expert
- There is a time to pause, reflect and refine
- He also talked about asymmetry and balance as composition for his painting
- We are hardwired to tell stories and that is a useful entry point to engage people which Richard incorporates with his work
